New event

Deploys a spoke stack, stores its key and registers it in the hub. About 5 minutes. Pages are live at the hostname as soon as it's active.
Lowercase letters, digits, hyphens. Becomes the stack name (tms-tracker-<id>) and the table suffix. Cannot be changed later.
Anything under fleet.tms.com. Case doesn't matter. Already covered by DNS and the certificate.
Map centre before any phone reports, and the "stadium side" for direction labels. Tip: right-click a spot on the Fleet Map to fill these in.
Lambda slots reserved for this event's reports. 50 is right for a few hundred phones; 0 for a test event.

Spin down event

This deletes the event's stack — API, Lambdas, tables, secret — so it stops costing anything. Before that the hub takes a backup of every table (location history, devices, groups, routes, colours) and copies the route files aside; backups survive the deletion and can be restored later. Any phone still assigned here is unassigned. The event stays in this list as deleted with its backups, and the hostname is free to reuse.

Edit event

Pages move to the new name immediately (DNS and the certificate already cover anything under fleet.tms.com). Bookmarks to the old name stop working.
Map centre before any phone reports. Right-click the Fleet Map to pick a spot, then open this form.

Edit Device

Shown as the primary label on the map.
Uncheck to deactivate this device. Deactivated devices are hidden from the map regardless of their group memberships or report activity. Historical events are preserved.
Sent when the driver hasn't entered an override on the device.
A device can belong to many groups. Start typing to see existing groups, or enter a new name to create one.
